What We Believe

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative, and inerrant word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17 & 2 Peter 1:19-21).

WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30 & John 14:15-26).

WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ (Isaiah 9:6, John 8:58, John 10:24-30 & Titus 2:13), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23 & Luke 1:34-35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 2 Corinthians 5:21 & 1 John 3:5), His miracles (Matthew 8, Mark 2:5-12 & John 2:11, 23), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9 & 1 Peter 3:18), His resurrection (John 2:18-22, John 11:25, John 20:1-29 & 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19, Acts 1:9-11 & Ephesians 1:19b-21), and His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:9-11 & Revelation 19:11-16).

WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8-11), and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower in ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide (John 14:16-17, 26, John 16:13). WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-16, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 & Galatians 5:16-25).

WE BELIEVE that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts (receives) Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 1:21-22), and all of his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord (John 3:16-17, 5:24, Romans 3:21-26, Ephesians 2:8-10 and Titus 3:3-7).

WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 7:20-23, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 and Galatians 3:26-28).

WE BELIEVE that we, as born again believers, must love one another as Christ loved us, so that the world will know that we are His disciples (John 13:34-35).
